@asadmemonpk I think it's not fair to deceive users. The service has a limitation in the length of video recording at 1 hour. Tested in several experiments. Disappointed

When I download the file and replay it, I get audio but just a blank screen. It works fine on the replay in the browser...am I missing something?

Super helpful, no login, no registration, just a button to record your desktop screen and mic. Would be awesome to add into a chrome extension :D great work @asadmemonpk

@asadmemonpk hmmm good point! but a website would need internet and I understand that you guys wanted a no install tool, a browser extension is the middle ground I believe. Take a look at the extension cause I see familiar requests ( timer, mp4 export) , it's an awesome tool

@asadmemonpk @sourab_reddy "a website would need internet access" > not 100% true since this can be backed by a service worker which can technically work offline ( obviously after the first time and just to compare it with a extension you would need a one time internet access for extensions as well )

@asadmemonpk @anas_raza_firdousi_123 I do agree that the service worker would make it equivalent to an extension and I checked before posting if recordscreen.io installs any workers, seems like it's only available as a traditional website (through internet) but it might be a nice feature to have in future :)
