ReclaimRoll extracts text, URLs, and QR codes from screenshots on your iPhone, saves the useful information to one Markdown file, then lets you review and clean up the screenshots. On-device, no account, no ads.
Hi Product Hunt!
I’m an independent developer in Japan, and I built ReclaimRoll around a simple problem:
We often keep screenshots not because we need the image itself, but because we may still need the information inside it.
A screenshot might contain a URL, instructions, reservation details, product information, a note, or a QR code. Even when the image is no longer useful, deleting it can feel risky because that information disappears with it.
So ReclaimRoll works in a different order:
1. Save the useful information first.
2. Then decide which screenshots you no longer need.
ReclaimRoll extracts text, URLs, and QR codes on-device and collects the information into a single Markdown file.
After the information has been saved, you can review your screenshots and clean up the ones you no longer want. It can also group similar screenshots to make them easier to review.
Privacy was important to me as well. Screenshot analysis and text recognition happen on the iPhone. ReclaimRoll doesn’t send your screenshots or extracted information to servers operated by HOBEEC.
There’s also:
• No account required
• No ads
• No third-party analytics SDK
• No subscription
You can process the first 20 screenshots for free. Pro is a one-time purchase that removes the processing limit.
I’d especially love feedback on one question:
Do you also have screenshots you keep only because there’s something inside them you don’t want to lose?
Thanks for checking out ReclaimRoll!
