RealTube lets you watch YouTube with a filters for AI content. Detection works in layers: keyword matching on video metadata (only flags when multiple AI keywords appear together to reduce false positives), plus a community reporting system for content that slips through — useful for videos that look real but get flagged by other viewers. You can also whitelist specific AI content you want to keep seeing, and set personal keyword filters for anything else.

I built this primarily with deepfakes in mind — as AI video gets indistinguishable from human-made content. Detection works in layers: first, keyword matching on video metadata — we only flag something as AI when multiple AI-related keywords appear together, to reduce false positives. That said, AI content that avoids mentioning AI in its metadata slips through, which is where the community reporting system comes in — users flag videos, and once a threshold of votes is reached, the video is filtered for everyone.
