Hello Everyone! My name is Stephanie Michaels, I'm new here to Product Hunt and I'm very excited to launch my first product, our Real-Time Volumetric Clouds! This was made following the Horizon Zero Dawn Implementation Paper.
What You Are Getting! This is a complete Visual Studio C++ OpenGL 4.6 project. If you are a game developer or creating a game engine or making a MOD for a game you really enjoy and you need to add realistic, highly optimized Volumetric clouds without struggling to create it yourself from scratch, which would take you months to do, then this project is for you.
The Set Up: The project is set up to simply run as a visual studio solution file. Just click the solution and launch the project on your local machine. Please note, since this is using Ray Marching and Compute Shaders, your GPU should support Modern OpenGL otherwise this will not work on your GPU. To check the specs of your PC, please watch this video we made for you! If you need help checking your GPU specs, please watch this video as well.
Are There Instructions? - Absolutely! Once you purchase the source code on our website, it is actually sold as a course. You will see the link for the download file and you can watch the videos to set up the project! We have made it as easy as possible, any true graphics programmer will be able to get this going fairly easily.
