If the final price settles within your range, your prediction qualifies for ranked, proportional payout. The system rewards precision and timing. Narrower ranges score higher. Earlier participation increases weight. Settlement occurs every minute. Outcomes are determined purely by relative positioning.
Our investees started building Darts.trade after realizing how limiting most prediction markets are.
Everything is binary — up or down, yes or no, all or nothing.
But real markets don’t move in binaries. They move in ranges.
So they asked: what if predictions were about precision instead of direction?
That led to the core idea behind Darts: 60-second rounds where participants define price ranges instead of picking sides. Settlement is ranked and proportional — no fixed odds, no house position, just relative positioning.
It took a lot of iteration to balance scoring, volatility tiers, and payout distribution so that precision and timing both matter without making it exploitable.
