Readium turns any book, PDF, web article, or document into a listen-along audiobook - with real-time word highlighting so your eyes and ears work together. Natural cloud voices + fully offline device voices, a free library of classics, and an Apple-Books-style reader. Private, and free.
Hey Product Hunt š
I'm Raquib, and I built Readium solo.
I read a lot on the go, but I kept losing focus on the page - and the apps that
read to you while highlighting each word (so you can actually follow along) were
either expensive (~$139/year), required an account, or wouldn't work offline.
So I built the one I wanted.
Readium turns any book, PDF, or document into a listen-along
audiobook with real-time, word-by-word highlighting. A few things I care about:
⢠Premium AI voices AND on-device voices that work fully offline ā no account
⢠Import EPUB, PDF, web links, TXT ā plus one-tap free Project Gutenberg classics
⢠An Apple-Books-style reader: 4 themes, reading fonts, background playback with
lock-screen controls
⢠Private by design ā no ads, no tracking. Premium voices are free during launch.
It's free on the App Store today. I'd genuinely love your feedback ā especially:
what do you read most (books, PDFs, articles?), and what would make read-along
actually stick for you day to day?
Happy to answer anything in the comments all day. š
