Reading Reminders

👋 Hi ProductHunt community, I'm Jeet - a full-time Data Scientist @ Shopify and a part-time hacker. This is my first launch on PH and I'm really excited to share Reading Reminders with you! 🚀 Like most of you, I'm an avid reader and learner. I'm also a compulsive note-taker - I make notes on everything. Books, courses, gym sessions, recipes, interesting conversations .... everything. Unfortunately, most of these notes are pointless if I can't remember and retain their content. I wanted something to send me periodic snippets of content from my notes. Aka Readwise for my own notes. Nothing like this existed - so I decided to build it. Here's how it works: 1. Sign up 2. Use your browser token to sign into your Notion account 3. Set up your reminder (choose your folder/page, how frequently you want these emails, how many snippets you want, and any other formatting rules to look for when identifying content) and that's it! A couple of notes: - The service is completely free to use - Notion doesn't have an official API (it's coming in the next few months!) so I have a hacky (but secure) way to login for now. I'll update this as soon it's available. - If you're interested in a similar service for other note providers (Bear, Evernote, etc.) - please express this interest by adding your email to the waitlist for Premium or let me know below! It'll help me prioritize what to build next. - Premium will be a paid service ($5/month) and is set to include things like unlimited reminders per user, reminders from multiple folders and pages, and much more! This sounds great! Spaced repetition helped me remember things when I was a student. Can't wait to start to (finally) start using my own notes to make sure I remember things. Good job Jeet!
