Combined with ORP highlighting — which marks the exact letter your brain focuses on — Readerr helps you read 2-3x faster without losing comprehension. → Import PDFs, EPUBs, web articles, or paste text → 100 to 800 WPM, adjustable on the fly → Smart chapter detection with progress tracking → Your data stays on device — no account needed Free. Unlimited plan at $2.99/month.

Does the ORP highlighting actually help comprehension at the higher WPM ranges, or does it start to feel more like skimming once you push past 500?
@erginel28238 Good question, honestly it's mixed. ORP's real benefit is cutting out the eye movement needed to find the recognition point in each word, so at moderate speeds (roughly 250–400) it genuinely keeps you locked onto meaning instead of hunting letters. Push past ~500 and you hit the same wall every RSVP method hits: your brain's language processing has a ceiling no matter how the words get in front of your eyes, so dense or unfamiliar text starts feeling more like skimming - you catch the shape of a sentence, not every word. Simple, familiar material holds up much better at high speeds. That's why WPM and sentence-pause are both adjustable - the sweet spot is pretty personal and depends on what you're reading.
