rdsql is a psql-style terminal client for Aurora that talks to the RDS Data API over HTTPS. You don't need a VPN, bastion host, or SSH tunnel. It has an interactive REPL, \d to describe tables, table/JSON/CSV/HTML output, and named connections. Free and MIT-licensed.
