Hear a Quran recitation and want to know which ayah it is? Tap once — Rawi identifies it in seconds. Rawi uses on-device AI to transcribe and match against all 6,236 ayahs. Works with any reciter. No internet needed. Free: identification, English translation, tafsir, audio playback, lock screen widget. Muqri mode tests what you know by heart — like a teacher sitting beside you. No ads. No account. No tracking. Rawi Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
Tried it when i was in Masjid, imam was reciting and it shows up the verse on the app.

Assalamu alaikum, ProductHunt!
I built Rawi because I kept finding myself in situations where I'd hear a beautiful Quran recitation — at the masjid, in a shop, in a taxi — and wish I could know exactly which ayah it was.
The tool simply didn't exist, so I built it.
A few things I'm proud of:
- Everything runs on your iPhone. No audio ever leaves the device — works in airplane mode.
- No ads. I didn't want to monetize attention around sacred content.
- One-time purchase, not a subscription. You buy it once, it's yours.
- Muqri mode lets you test what you know by heart — it plays a prompt and listens as you recite the continuation.
What's something you heard recited recently and wished you could identify?
I'd love your feedback. Happy to answer any questions!
