Tired of hyper-optimized algorithms? Randomverse is a social experience built on pure serendipity. Every photo, video, or thought has an equal chance to be discovered globally. Built with Flutter. No tracking, no forced accounts, just unexpected connection.
The pure randomness angle is genuinely refreshing, love that there is no algorithm gaming needed. One thing that would make me come back more often is some kind of "resurface" option where you can save specific posts to a private list and revisit them later, since right now everything feels ephemeral and sometimes you stumble on something cool but lose track of it forever.
@elifnur2aig Absolutely! I have a ton of ideas lined up for the project, but I really wanted to launch with this core version first to validate the concept and see how people react to something entirely new in the social media space.
If the foundation resonates with users, expanding the platform with features like a private 'archive' or 'save' list is exactly the direction I want to take.

The serendipity angle is genuinely refreshing, will be curious to see how it feels in practice. One thing that would help keep things interesting longer term is a lightweight "mood" or topic tag users can optionally slap on a post before tossing it into the void, just enough so people with shared interests can find each other again after a first accidental encounter.
@muharremsae1ryIt's an interesting thought, but I want to be very careful not to let the platform turn into traditional social media or standard keyword sorting.
If I do introduce something like moods or topics down the road, I'd want to put a unique Randomverse twist on it so it keeps the magic of pure serendipity intact.
Right now, the goal is to test this core concept first and see how people react to an unmanipulated, democratic feed. If it takes off, I'll definitely look into expanding the features while protecting that core philosophy.

Honestly the random feed thing is kind of refreshing, like I scrolled for a few minutes and found a guy's hiking video from somewhere random in Norway. No signup was a nice touch too.

honestly the random discovery angle is cool, but i'd love some kind of optional save or bookmark feature for posts i stumble onto and actually want to revisit later, since right now everything just kind of vanishes into the void

Balancing that temporary serendipity with a way to save gems is definitely turning out to be our top priority for the next update.

Opened it expecting a mess of spam posts but found an actual watercolor sketch from someone in Portugal instead. The random feed idea sounds gimmicky until you actually scroll for a few minutes and feel a real sense of discovery.

Just to clarify for anyone reading, the app doesn't track locations, so if you stumbled onto a Portuguese sketch, that's pure coincidence or down to whatever the creator typed in the post itself!

Like, if I post a photo of a sunset I'd love for it to find people actually searching "sunset" instead of getting lost in pure chaos. Keeps the serendipity vibe but gives creators a tiny anchor.
