Many people have movies, series, and anime spread across NAS drives, personal servers, WebDAV, SMB, or Emby, but the experience often feels like browsing folders instead of enjoying a real streaming app. Railux is our attempt to turn a private library into a beautiful, intelligent media center: smooth 4K/HDR playback, cinematic poster walls, smart metadata matching, subtitles, and an ad-free experience. AI is a big part of our roadmap. Today it helps with file recognition and organization, and next we’re working on AI subtitle matching, AI-curated watchlists, smarter search, and more playback enhancements.
