Railux is an AI-powered media player and personal streaming hub for private libraries. It streams from NAS, personal servers, Emby, WebDAV, or SMB with 4K/HDR playback, broad format support, subtitles, and a cinematic poster-wall experience. AI helps identify files, fetch metadata, and organize movies, series, and anime, with AI subtitles, AI-curated watchlists, smart search, and playback enhancement coming next.
Hi Product Hunt 👋
We built Railux because managing a private media library still feels harder than it should. Many people have movies, series, and anime spread across NAS drives, personal servers, WebDAV, SMB, or Emby, but the experience often feels like browsing folders instead of enjoying a real streaming app.
Railux is our attempt to turn a private library into a beautiful, intelligent media center: smooth 4K/HDR playback, cinematic poster walls, smart metadata matching, subtitles, and an ad-free experience.
AI is a big part of our roadmap. Today it helps with file recognition and organization, and next we’re working on AI subtitle matching, AI-curated watchlists, smarter search, and more playback enhancements.
We’d love to hear your feedback, especially from people who run their own media servers or collect movies, series, and anime.
