The touchscreen MacBook Pro is out today, but holding your arm up to tap a laptop screen gets old fast. With Radial your hand stays on the desk and your thumb presses the bottom corner. A dial opens with volume, music and your apps. Slide, let go.

Hey PH! Rienk here, a designer from Amsterdam.
The MacBook Pro finally has a touchscreen, and it comes out today. Thing is, macOS is still made for a mouse, and holding your arm up to tap the screen gets tiring pretty quickly.
So I made Radial. You leave your hand where it is, on the desk or holding the edge of the lid, and press the bottom corner of the screen with your thumb. A dial opens right there with the stuff you use all day, like volume, the next song, brightness and your apps. Slide your thumb to one and let go.
A few things I spent way too long on. You don't have to hit the icon, just move in its direction. Volume and brightness are sliders around the edge, so you drag them without lifting your thumb. Every app can have its own dial, so Figma gets its tools and Safari its tabs. Some wedges fill themselves in, like your open apps or what's up next in Spotify. And if you don't feel like setting it up by hand, you can ask Claude to make a dial for you.
No touchscreen? Hold ⌘, ⌥ or ⌃ and move the mouse, and you get the same dial.
It's €9, one time, for up to 3 Macs, with a 3 day free trial. No account, no subscription.
Today is also Hypership Day, so I'll be building what you ask for. Tell me what you'd want on your dial or what bugged you, and I'll ship as much as I can before the day is over. The updates show up right in the app.
Ask me anything, I'm around all day.
