Self-hosted rack temperature & SNMP monitoring for data centers, server rooms, colocation and edge. Live rack heatmaps, honest alerting, SLA reports and a public status page — in one Docker container.
Hi PH! I built RackMon because I kept asking one question about my racks: are they getting too hot, and will I know before something fails? Every tool made me build that answer myself.
RackMon is a self-hosted monitor shaped around exactly that: a live per-U heatmap of every rack, SNMP v2c/v3 telemetry over WebSocket, honest alerting (hold-windows + dedup, so a missed poll never fakes a "recovered"), SLA/uptime PDF reports and a public status page. One container, SQLite to Postgres/Timescale, fully offline - no account, no phone-home.
Community edition is free forever; Pro adds SSO/LDAP, the status page, SLA reports and white-label for colo/MSP folks.
There's a read-only live demo on the site - I'd love feedback on what's missing for your setup. Happy to answer anything!
