For Android phone updated to 9.0, my favorite call recording app ceased to record both sides of the conversation. This was unacceptable as I really needed this functionality.
So we developed an MVP for R3M3MB3R
in essence, the app shoots a signal to our server in the cloud that will set up a conference call between you and your party.
This means that you don't have to initiate an annoying conference call. Even as a techie I have a hard time getting my phone to do conference calls every time. R3M3MB3R does this for you automatically.
The nice part about the server in the cloud creating the conference call is that if your app crashes or you drop your phone or you lose your phone, you never lose out on your data.
In the current form, the second that you get done with the call, it will push the MP3 file and the text file automatically to your G Drive.
If you've ever done much call recording, you'll instantly recognize the benefit in that if you need to find a particular spot where someone said something, you simply go to your Google Drive and search for that keyword. It will reference the text file, and then you can approximate we're within the MP3 file the words were said. The point being is it really sucks listening to hours of MP3 to try to find out where someone said something. R3M3MB3R eliminates this.
Finally, it is not free. Sorry, the server and the phone lines cost me money. So we have to charge for it. But at $0.10 a minute for the service, I think it's priced competitively with other services out there.
R3M3MB3R is only for Android because iPhone offers call recording within their own ecosystem. Hate it for us Android users.
Anyway, I hope you like it. I absolutely love it. Once you try it I think you'll get is addicted to it as I am. It's so smooth, it works so well, and on top of that you can use your Bluetooth headset and you never have to turn on speakerphone.
Hope You enjoy it!
