Most puzzle & quiz apps chase the dopamine hit — answer, check, forget. I wanted curiosity to actually pay off, starting with every quiz question coming with a real explanation, not just a checkmark. That grew into five daily habits: a quiz, two word puzzles, a real Sudoku for purists and beginners alike, and a short daily read. Built solo, alongside a full-time job — because I believe an app can respect your time and intelligence instead of just chasing engagement. Free, new content every day.

Hey Product Hunt! I'm Santosh. Qurio Games started with a simple frustration: most daily quiz and puzzle apps are built for the dopamine hit — answer, check, forget. I wanted curiosity to actually pay off instead. The cat running through the whole brand isn't just decoration — curiosity's always been associated with cats, and Qurio leans into that on purpose: a little mischievous, genuinely inquisitive, never self-serious. One thing I cared about a lot while building this: making it genuinely work for everyone who picks it up — a teenager, a grandparent, a working professional on lunch break. The Daily Quiz spans six categories and always explains the "why" behind each answer, not just right or wrong — and when players wanted a bit of breathing room on tougher questions, I added a 50/50 hint based on that feedback. Nine Lives drew a genuinely devoted following fast, but some players found it tough to get a foothold early on — so rather than water down the original, I built Zen Mode alongside it as a gentler alternative. Then came Sudo-Q, calibrated to work for purists and complete beginners alike, so nobody gets a lesser version of the game. This has all been a solo build alongside a full-time job, shaped by watching how real people actually played, not by guessing. The whole point, underneath it all, is pulling people away from endless doom-scrolling toward something that leaves them a little better off — exactly what our tagline promises: Curious today, smarter tomorrow.
