I built QuoteComparePro out of frustration with how inefficient and opaque supplier pricing is - especially for services and non-standard purchases.
As a real estate investor self-managing my properties, I kept running into the same problem: manually collecting multiple quotes, trying to compare apples to oranges, and often overpaying simply because I didn’t have the time or tools to properly analyze them. Even worse, suppliers and contractors know this - and price accordingly.
I realized there was a simple but powerful opportunity: What if you could upload your quotes and instantly see who’s overcharging, where the gaps are, and how to negotiate better… and then have AI negotiate with multiple suppliers for you at once?
On top of that, I wanted more context - not just pricing. So QuoteComparePro also pulls in supplier and contractor reviews across platforms like Yelp, Google, Facebook, BBB, etc., giving you a full picture of who you’re dealing with, not just what they charge.
That’s how QuoteComparePro started.
Users can upload quotes directly and get immediate, structured comparisons, insights, and AI-driven negotiation support that runs in parallel across vendors - while keeping you in the loop as they respond.
The biggest evolution in the process was narrowing the scope. The long-term vision of the platform is a full procurement OS, but for launch, I focused on one sharp wedge:
👉 “Compare quotes. Automate Negotiations. Save money.”
That clarity made everything easier - messaging, UX, and getting early users to actually try it.
After a few months of crickets, seeing real users sign up and even pay within weeks of refining the positioning validated the core idea: people know they’re overpaying - they just haven’t had a simple way to prove it - or fix it without a ton of effort texting or emailing multiple suppliers or contractors.
