Hello product hunters! I hate adding new contacts to my phone. For one reason or another it is never a graceful task for me. So I made quikly. It's a super simple app for creating contacts and saving them to your address book. Hopefully it can save folks a little time and stress. The folks over at AppAdvice.com just gave us a great review: "When you're adding someone to your phone book, you want it to be easy. With quikly, it's not only easy, but lightning fast." - AppAdvice "Quikly is lightning-fast to use, and so simple you might wonder if it really worked. It's definitely streamlined my efforts to get people into my phone book. What's really nice is that once you've saved the contact, you can text or call them straight from quikly." - AppAdvice "The app that Contacts should have used to add phone numbers" - AppAdvice You can read the full review here: https://appadvice.com/post/add-c... Here's some of the thought behind creating quikly: CREATING A NEW CONTACT IS FRUSTRATING We've all been there - you're talking to a new friend and decide to exchange contact info. As you're searching for your address book app, the conversation continues. Distracted, you open your call app and start looking for a "new" button, but can't find one. At some point your new friend figures you must be ready and starts telling you their phone number. But you are definitely not ready, and ask them to wait just a moment. Perhaps you give up and just call the new number. Or perhaps you've gotten into the new contact page, but now you have to scroll through a bunch of random fields that you never use - photo, company, url. Some people get so frustrated that they hand their phone to their new friend and ask them to add their own info - forcing them to try to figure out a phone that they're unfamiliar with. SHOULDN'T IT BE SIMPLE? This is a basic task for anyone with a phone. Why not make it easy? quikly keeps it simple. Just enter one or more of the following and then tap "Save": First, Last, Phone. Your new contact is now saved in the native phone contact list. If you want to add more details later, you can edit it from the Contacts app. AND QUICK? In addition to simplicity, quikly cuts your taps in half. 4 taps to add a new contact instead of 8 with the native contact app. 6 taps to add a contact and call them vs 12 with the native app. CALL OR TEXT quikly gives you the option to call or text your new contact after their info has been saved - making it easy to pass your phone number on to them. PRICE I’ve been encouraged to make it free w/ ads or in-app purchases, but I feel that would take away from the simple user experience I’m aiming for. I want users to be able to get it and forget about it until they need it, and then still be able to use it easily when the moment arises. So I decided to charge 99 cents. I hope you're able to check out quikly. It's available in the iOS App Store and Google Play Store, as well as on our website: https://www.eventfulapps.com/quikly Thanks, Erik
