Last year, my friend and I decided to build an app for splitting expenses with friends. We were on a group vacation and trying to split a bunch of bills every day, but Splitwise's clunky UX and ads kept getting in the way. So we decided to build an app for ourselves that's simpler and just does what we need. We've built Quicksplit as a side project. As always, building something ends up being a bit more complicated and taking a bit longer than we initially expected :)

This sounds super handy, Dan! Splitting expenses on trips can be such a headache, and Quicksplit seems like a clean and simple solution. Kudos for tackling this and best of luck with it!

@Dan hey, this looks like exactly what I needed on my last trip! Just wondering--does Quicksplit work offline? Sometimes signal is spotty when traveling, and that could be a potential blocker for me.

Hey @danieltaylorr Great question! We don't have offline mode right now - when we're travelling we often input our bills at the end of the day when we're back at the hotel. Offline mode can be tricky to build but 100% agree it'd be a handy addition!
