What do you think? …

Wagner Brenner
Hi! I don't understand why someone would pay that much for something like that. Maybe I am missing the point here.
Michael Gubik
@wagner_brenner1 Two things: 1. Pricing isn’t easy but I don’t see any way for a niche product like this to be viable at a dollar, hence it’s $8.99. Whether this is good value for the customer is very subjective. I’m targeting professionals (for the lack of a better term) who really value their time and like a smooth experience. Having to manually move notes from a different program might only take 10 seconds but personally I wouldn’t want to bother doing that every single time if there’s a solution that syncs automatically. 2. I think it’s hard to see how different the actual experience is to the Notion iOS app if you haven’t used it - and thus it might be hard to see the value. That’s a mistake on my end and I might add a trial version in the future so it’s easy to see for yourself. That being said, it’s always possible to get a refund from Apple, they just don’t advertise it (but it’s quick to google).

@wagner_brenner1 @minnixio But this misses the point - Nute doesn't integrate with Notion?
Michael Gubik
@wagner_brenner1 Quick Note for Notion is now freemium so anyone with an iPhone (or iPad) can try the app for free. If you perceive the value and use the app regularly it's $9.99 / Year. For those who initially thought this could be useful but the upfront price deterred you, please have a look again at https://quicknote4notion.com.

It seems to be a handy tool, but it definitely doesn't cost 8$ IMHO
Michael Gubik
@mvmalyi I reduced the price to $4.99
Max M.
@gubikmic Oh well, I did not expect that! Thanks for such a quick reconsideration of your price policy. I understand that 9$ is not a big deal in the US, but for citizens of less developed countries it might be expensive.
Max M.
@gubikmic I've just purchased the app. It's great, really convenient, especially for offline use. However, I also hope it's going to improve. As of now, I would recommend to focus on two things – a support for simple Notion syntax (for instance, [] task can create a checkbox in Notion, etc.) and ability to use any page for export (right now, only the top ones are available, not inherited).
Michael Gubik
@mvmalyi I totally agree! Apple should allow developers to offer median-income adjusted prices so apps are similarly affordable in all countries
Michael Gubik
@mvmalyi Thanks for buying the app and thanks for your feedback. These two are on my list! I’ll see how the app does economically and then add more features.

Man, it’s so simple and makes work flow so much more fluid. Great work!
Michael Gubik
@nic_warner thanks a lot for your feedback during beta!

This as a browser extension would be cool.

Even if the Notion App on Android is faster/more fluent, this would be a very nice App for Android too. While discussing a topic with a client on premise, it would be nice to just get these notes down as fast as with this app on android too.
Max M.
@gubikmic Here is the way I use it Instead of starting a new line with plain text I just re-edit a permanent callout block on my home page..
Michael Gubik
Hey ProductHunt! I love Notion but with the iOS app, I've had too many situations like this: Engaging conversation… someone mentions a book....I pull up my phone to jot it down but what should've taken a second took 15. When I'm finally ready to type I've forgotten the title and they're already talking about something else. So I went ahead and built a simple app that opens a blank notepad where you can immediately start typing. It works really well, I use it all the time, and for all kinds of things that I wouldn't have put in Notion before. The speed really makes a difference. Many many steps later I'm excited to launch Quick Note and I hope you'll find it useful. If you have any questions or feedback please don't hesitate to comment or get in touch via quicknote@1e11.io
