quezty is a solo tabletop RPG where AI narrates the story but never decides the outcome. Create a character, choose a universe, and describe anything you want to do in your own words. An independent rules engine handles the dice, stats, difficulty, damage, and consequences, so the AI can’t bend the rules to fit the story. Explore five universes, shape your character through your choices, and play adventures that actually reach an ending. No account. No ads. Built for iPhone.
Hey Product Hunt! I built quezty because I love what AI can bring to RPGs, but I didn’t want AI to control the game.
In most AI adventures, the same model that tells the story also decides whether you succeed. That means it can quietly change the rules to make the narrative work.
quezty separates those two jobs.
The AI is the Game Master: it understands what you want to do and narrates what happens. But an independent engine running on the iPhone owns the rules, rolls the dice, calculates difficulty, damage, progression, and consequences. The AI gets the result and has to live with it, just like the player.
I also wanted adventures to actually go somewhere. Every story has two competing clocks, outcome and pressure, so eventually you reach an epilogue instead of chatting with an AI forever.
There are five universes at launch: Medieval, Sci-Fi, Espionage, Horror, and Post-Apocalyptic. You can choose suggested actions or simply write whatever you want to try.
No account, no ads, and your adventures stay on your device and iCloud.
I’d especially love feedback from tabletop RPG players: does separating the storyteller from the rules solve something that bothers you about AI RPGs too?
