Questy

I built Questy after realizing that there is no easy way to get the answers for everyday parenting questions faced by parents in India. Summary: Questy is a search engine for helping the growing community of mindful Indian parents, who seek solutions/ answers to everyday parenting questions and would have to search dozens of websites and apps to get relevant and recurring answers. Problem: There are at least 50 large and frequented Indian Parenting websites, discussion boards, apps and other content blogs. But most of the parents are not getting “right” answers for their parenting problems. Some websites have answers for one kind of problems, while some have for other areas. Parents are asking the same questions on websites, apps and facebook groups. Though the answer/information, which they are looking for, does exist on one of these parenting sites, there is no single place to search all these sites. Solution: This is what we solve at Questy. When a parent searches on Questy, they get matching results from Indian parenting websites only. Since they get best results from all relevant Indian parenting websites, there is NO need to search on individual websites. However we link up to the individual websites, as they own the content and should get the traffic for good content. Why Google does not help these parents comprehensively? Parenting is a global topic. When a parent searches on Google or another search engine, even , s/he gets answers from lots of global websites too. Whereas on Questy, they get results from Indian websites only. Hence the results are more useful for Indian parents as they have an Indian context. For Example: A parent wants to travel with their little one (say 1 year old). They want to know tips (food, health related) for traveling abroad with little one. Search "travelling tips" on Questy and Google both. The results on Questy are much more relevant for Indian users. Google results show lots of global websites but very few Indian ones.
