QuarantineFiction is a new initiative aiming at reducing lockdown stress and anxiety with the help of writing. Write a story, share with your friends and support a good cause of helping children who have been affected by COVID-19.
@eugenio_comelli Hello, I hope you will enjoy the writing. There are a few requirements: a minimum word count of 500 words, and having a self-contained story with an ending. That’s all :)
@lilit_dallakyan Hi, thank you for the question and feedback. Our team is going to select those stories, but we will also take into consideration our community feedback.
@jonahwillson Thanks for your question. Since the stories will be compiled into a book and sold worldwide, we chose English as the language for the submissions to make sure it will be available to as many people as possible. Most of our community members are also writing in English, but there are no platform-wise restrictions on other languages.

Are there any restrictions to the stories or are you free to make it how you please?
@dangerzone77 Thank you for your interest. There are no restrictions on the type of stories, they can be of any genre or type. Two separate books are dedicated for fictional writings and memoirs. The only requirement is that they contain at least 500 words, and have a self-containing plot, without relying on a continuation or a backstory. If your story is larger, you can also start your own book on the platform.
Looking forward to reading your stories!
@hovhannes_yeritsyan Hi Hovhannes, thanks for your interest. The submissions will be closed on June 15, and the book will be released in the next 1-2 months after that
