Hi Product Hunt! We're Som, Thomas, and Allen, the co-founders of Quantbase. We're so excited to be sharing it with you today! (Thanks for hunting, @mwseibel 🤝) For the past year, we've been building, running, and managing our own class of investment funds for thousands of clients. We’ve had dozens of emerging managers, investment authors, and content creators reach out to us for help doing the same, so we decided to make this our central focus. Quantbase makes launching an investment strategy for your audience simple. We're an SEC-registered asset manager and work with partners like Quiver Quantitative, Austin Hankwitz, and Unusual Whales to turn their investment philosophy into a quantitative long/short portfolio for their audience. Because the funds we accept on our platform are built for long-term accelerated capital growth, clients that invest in Quantbase funds put in about 20-30% of their Fidelity/Vanguard portfolio size on Quantbase. We're asset class neutral and enable managers to launch portfolios across equities, fixed income, crypto, collectibles, and alternatives like wine and art. Our goal with Quantbase is to decrease the barrier to entry for people to become emerging investment managers and make it possible for them to launch profitable funds. We understand the ins and outs of the investment management, execution, and legal space - we’re excited to share our expertise with the community. If you have an investment-centric following and want to launch a strategy with us, here's how that works: 1. You work with us to generate a quantitative portfolio from the data you already have, or we create a factor-based long-term portfolio from your investment research/data. 2. We build out your custom-branded landing page, free of charge to you, for your audience to invest in your strategy. You get access to a dashboard where you can set a subscription fee, or we can work with you to integrate with your existing premium product. 3. You launch your strategy to your audience, with full control over subscriptions, client communication, and design. If you'd like to update your strategy, we work with you to seamlessly change the strategy execution. Here's how Quantbase works for people that want to invest on the platform: 1. If you live in the US and have a US bank account, click sign up and go through our onboarding process. We'll ask for your bank account information and personal information to verify your identity. 2. Choose which funds you'd like to invest in. You can choose Quantbase funds, which were built by our investment team, or you can choose funds that we've co-created with our partners. 3. Choose your desired percentage allocation between the funds, and then click deposit! In 2-3 days, we'll receive your deposit and do the rest. All investment rebalances within your chosen funds are done automatically for you, just like an ETF. 4. There are zero lockups, so you'll be able to withdraw/transfer out of Quantbase whenever you'd like. Thanks for checking us out - we can't wait to hear your feedback!
