Hey everyone - PV-Enthusiasts, PV-installers, RTV-Enthusiats, Outdoor-Peps, Balcony-Solar-Power-Plant-ers!

I've finished programming & published the PVLevel app 2 weeks ago. The idea was to create an app that simplifies PV panel alignment, planning & installation in a similar way like GoogleMaps has simplified real-time navigation with their mobile app:

I would love to hear your opinion on the actual app - your opinion is super important & highly valued! GoogleMaps uses your GPS, compass (& gyproscope) to locate you, download location dependent data & guides you base on live sensor data & their local algorithms to your destination.

In the same way PVLevel uses the same sensor data, downloads (locationd dependent) scientific solar data and then uses its local real time algorithms to give you live PV-energy/earnings updates on your planned PV-panels & guides you to this goal during installation. The app therefore assumes you're holding your phone parallel to the PV panel that you are currently planning or installing and displays all interesting PV information.

Works for fixed multi panel group systems, or for temporary PV panels, e.g. camping bus panels etc., that are only meant to operate for some hours, or days or weeks.

& just like GoogleMaps lets you share your routes & location, you can share your PV systems with friends, co-workers, customers, for them to cooperate or track the progress in real time.

This is kind of the Beta-version - an Early-Launch for fast-tracked "real" user feedback. I am currently already working on a design update and thinking about missing feature or improvements.
