As a developer, I often get so focused that I forget to breathe. I tried complex meditation apps, but they always felt like a distraction from my actual work.
So I built Pust (which is Danish for "exhale" or "take a break").
Pust is a minimalist macOS menu bar app. At scheduled intervals, it overlays a gentle breathing circle on top of your other app windows—forcing you to take a micro-break and do 3 rounds of 4x4 box breathing.
It’s a tiny tool that helps me stay calm during deep work without breaking my flow. I hope it helps you too!
