Thought I would share an iOS app that I developed last year as a side project :)
The motivation for developing Pushdot was that I always found business cards (both physical and digital) to lack the personalization that meaningful networking requires. I always noticed myself jotting down a little extra info on the back of the business card or wishing I had been able to include a long hyperlink to a portfolio site. The fact is, business cards in any form are a standardized solution for a dynamic situation.
Pushdot solves this by letting users quickly select any combination of social and contact information in just a few seconds before sharing. This quick customization lets you tailor the information you are sharing so that it reflects the relationship with the new contact that you are making. Contact cards can be shared to a recipients email or phone number whether they have the app or not!
I actually sold Pushdot earlier in the year to concentrate on other projects but figured it might be useful to other freelancers out there! The app is still a little rough around the edges and should be considered a beta or even an alpha but I'm sure the new owner would love to incorporate anyones thoughts into future builds :)
