A free menu bar app for any Mac with two displays, like a MacBook and a monitor. Move your laptop, push the pointer toward the monitor, and the displays rearrange to match, then the pointer crosses over. No setup, no account, 0.02% CPU at rest.

Hi Product Hunt, I'm the maker of PushArrange.
My MacBook moves around one monitor all day: under it in the morning, beside it after lunch. macOS keeps the last arrangement, so every move means opening System Settings and dragging rectangles.
PushArrange watches for one thing: the pointer pinned against an edge with no screen beyond it while you keep pushing. That is you reaching for a monitor that is not arranged there. It moves the monitor to that edge, lines it up with the pointer and carries the pointer across. If the monitor is already on that side, it only carries the pointer.
A few things I cared about:
- No setup and nothing to configure. Install it and it is on.
- 0.02% CPU at rest with a monitor attached, measured. No account, no analytics.
- It steps aside completely while Universal Control links your Mac to another Mac.
- It is notarized by Apple and under 1 MB.
Scope is honest: a MacBook plus exactly one external monitor, Apple silicon, macOS 14 or later. More monitors are a common ask; tell me how your desk looks.
It is free. I'd love to hear how it behaves on your setup.
