Push Chat, powered by Push Protocol https://push.org/ is a web3-native messaging app. It’s secure, fast, simple, and free. You can communicate with any wallet address on web3 via messages, gifs, video calls, create group chats, and so much more.
Gm gm... Happy to be hunted on PH! Push is a decentralized communication protocol using which any smart contract, dapp, backend or protocol can send on-chain or off-chain notifications or chats which are tied directly to the wallet address of the user. It enables protocols to finally communicate with web3 usernames (aka wallet addresses).
Push has powered more than 25 million notifications and is used by hundreds of protocols. Some of the protocols that are empowered by Push are Uniswap, Lens, DyDx, Decentraland, Coindesk, Polygon, etc. Our vision is to be the defacto communication layer of web3 and we are just getting started!
Push is live on Ethereum, Polygon and BNB with more chains (evm as well as non-evms) to come out soon. The recent feature of Push is Push Chat and group chat which enables devs to build incentivized, token-gated, public or private groups for their DAOs, to negotiate on NFTs, to discuss web3 things and more!
Would love to answer any questions or any feedback PH community has for us!

@harshrajat Is that easy to implement push and push chat? or you guys have some "plug-in" sdks that I can take a look?
Hey @saulm20741842 - thanks for your questions!
So you can check out the docs here https://docs.push.org/developers...
Also, there's a workshop we did a while back for push notification (web3 notification) as well as push chat. Let us know if you have any questions!
@harshrajat Congratulations on the launch of Push Chat, the decentralized, uncensorable, and web3-native chat solution! Its fast, secure, and free messaging features make communication with any wallet address on web3 a breeze. Excited to see what new features will be added in the future.
I have 2-3 messaging apps that I use almost every day. But those are not web3-native, meaning that those apps still require connecting with your phone number or any sort of "centralized" services, and I have absolutely no control. That's why I'm personally super excited about team building and shipping Push Chat.
Find jungong.eth on https://app.push.org/#/chat. And if you're not sure how to use web3 wallet, I'm more than happy to help you out!
Hey everyone 👋
I’m Richa Joshi, co-founder of Push Protocol, web3’s communication protocol. Today, we’re super excited to launch Push Chat on Product Hunt!
We’ve been building the Push Protocol (https://push.org/) for about three years. We started it as a web3 push notification protocol, but user interest quickly helped us realize web2 chat applications, with their history of privacy concerns, data exploitation, censorship, and poor user experience, were also in need of a native web3 solution. And so, we created Push Chat!
We believe that messaging will eventually find its home in web3 not as a feature, but as a fundamental building block for decentralized infrastructure. Push Chat is thus free to use for any web3 user, as well as openly available for web3 devs to build with and integrate into their dapps.
Push Chat allows anyone with a web3 wallet to chat with others directly as it enables:
💬 Secure and private wallet-to-wallet messaging between any addresses on web3
📁 Send files
😻 Send emojis and gifs
🎥 Video call
🫂 Group chat
✅ Requires zero personal information to sign up
More features are on the way!
Hi ! 👋
Well done on getting Push Chat on the Product Hunt! I'm going to sample this product.
I've just got a single question. What motivated you to create it?
Congrats on the launch ?makers! Love the concept and really well done with the interface. Out of pure curiosity, would it be possible to somehow link your Push App account to an iCloud account to get the msgs (or notifications) to your iMessages?
I could imagine a world where if someone doesn't want to use a third-party app, they can still receive msgs from their projects, artists, or brands just perhaps not respond.
Thanks @gabe! So Push Chat is a wallet-to-wallet chat, no email sign ups, no phone numbers — all you need to start chatting is a web3 wallet address, and that’s why all the messages can be encrypted and securer than other more centralized chat apps. but yeah, we need to find a way to bring more web2 users to Push Chat.
