Purser is a personal finance app for people who want to see their month clearly without setting up a full budgeting system. Track expenses, income, and subscriptions in one place. No bank connections. No envelope budgets. No streaks or guilt alerts. Just a clean view of what came in, what went out, and which recurring costs are still running. Free tier is the full core experience. Pro comes with a 1-month free trial, so you can try deep analysis and projections without commitment.
I built Purser because every finance app I tried either wanted my bank login, guilt-tripped me about spending, or required an entire envelope-budgeting setup just to see where my money went.
What I actually wanted was simpler. Three questions each month:
1. What came in?
2. What went out?
3. Am I still paying for subscriptions I forgot about?
Purser is built around that. You log expenses, income, and subscriptions. The app shows you a clear monthly picture. That is the core loop.
A few decisions that shaped the product:
No bank connections. Your financial data never touches a third-party aggregator. You enter what you want to track.
No budget enforcement. Purser does not set limits or judge your spending. It gives you visibility, you decide what to do with it.
Free tier is the full tracking experience. Pro adds the analysis mode.
This is my first shipped iOS app and I am a solo developer. Honest feedback is the most valuable thing right now. What works, what is missing, what would make you keep using it. Early users shape what Purser becomes.
Thanks for taking a look.
