I built PurePose, a private AI posture monitoring app for Mac.
The problem: when you work at a desk for hours, it’s easy to slowly start slouching without noticing. Most posture reminders are either too manual, too annoying, or feel too invasive.
My approach: simple awareness first, gentle alerts second. PurePose tracks your posture in real time using your camera or AirPods, reminds you when your posture needs attention, and helps you see your progress over time.
Privacy was a big part of the idea from day one. PurePose runs locally on your Mac, so your posture data stays on your device.
