Most fitness apps sync your training data to servers you don't control. PumpTrace doesn't. No cloud, no account, no analytics โ everything stays on your phone in a local SQLite database. 873 hand-curated exercise illustrations (start + end positions), auto-progression, RPE logging, plate calculator, Hevy CSV import. Free with limits or CHF 90 one-time lifetime purchase. Built by a Swiss solo dev in 6 months.

Hey Product Hunt! ๐
I'm Dumeni, solo dev from Graubรผnden, Switzerland. I built PumpTrace because I wanted a strength tracker where my training data stays on my phone โ and nowhere else.
**The exercise illustration problem**
873 exercises needed start + end position illustrations. Existing packs were inconsistent, expensive, or had license restrictions. So I built a pipeline: reference photos โ Kie.ai (GPT-Image-2) for black-and-orange silhouettes โ composited with sharp.js โ palette-16 PNG compression. Result: 800 MB raw down to 80 MB bundled in the app.
**Why offline-only?**
I wanted an app I can use for 10+ years. Companies pivot, get acquired, shut down servers. If the app works completely offline, none of that matters. The only network call is the RevenueCat Pro entitlement check.
If you uninstall, your data is gone. That's the point.
**Pricing**
Free with hard limits. Pro removes everything โ CHF 5/month, CHF 40/year, or CHF 90 one-time lifetime. In a world of endless subscriptions, I wanted to offer a real one-time option.
**Tech:** React Native + Expo SDK 54, SQLite on-device, EAS Build, Swiss VPS.
Happy to answer anything โ the AI image pipeline, offline architecture, or why React Native over native.
