Simple website monitoring for people who manage client sites. Pulsewatch catches downtime and expiring SSL certificates before your client does, alerts you by email + Slack, and gives every account a shareable status page. The essentials, minus the bloat. Free plan, $9/mo Pro.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built Pulsewatch to scratch my own itch: [e.g. "as a freelancer, I once found out a client's SSL cert had expired from the client, on a Monday morning — not a great look."]
Most monitoring tools do way more than I needed — keyword/API/DNS monitors, dozens of integrations, enterprise dashboards — and are priced for it. I just wanted: "tell me the instant a client's site is down or a cert is about to expire, and give me a status page I can share."
So Pulsewatch does exactly that, on purpose:
• 24/7 uptime checks + response times
• SSL expiry alerts, weeks ahead
• Email + Slack alerts (down AND recovery)
• A public status page per account
• 60-second setup — paste a URL, done
It won't replace a full observability suite, and I'm upfront about that. If you manage sites for clients and want the essentials done simply and cheaply ($9/mo vs $50+ for the big tools), it might be for you.
Brand new — I'd love your feedback on the idea and pricing. Free plan, no credit card. AMA 🙏

Does the free plan cap you on how many client sites you can monitor, or just on the alerting features?
