Hi there Product Hunt! My name is Amy and I’m a co-founder of Puffin, your new all-in-one trip planner. We began Puffin when we found ourselves wrestling with Google maps, word docs and excel sheets while trying to put together our post-pandemic adventures. We were just super frustrated trying to string together trip details using all these different tools and we decided that we needed something better. Thus, as a group of designers and developers, we decided to make the travel planning tool of our dreams. With Puffin you can: * Drag and drop locations and shuffle them around the itinerary as you see fit * Track travel times and see all possible transit options * Plan as a group by inviting your travel buddies on the same Puffin Map * Always have a complete bird’s eye view of your trip and have all your trip details organized in one place And so much more! We initially built Puffin as a web application and tested it with a small number of users. Based on that feedback, we kept improving Puffin. We have also adapted the application for mobile use, so that it could be easily used on-the-go. Plus, Puffin is 100% FREE to use with no hidden fees or costs. @Amy why you did not try TripAdvisor or booking.com? Both have already features for planning and discovering attractions around. Do you plan to monetize it Puffin Maps?

@konrad_bujak Thanks for the question. We believe the planning tool from TripAdvisor is an after thought for them and is very lacking. Here are some differentiators: - Puffin updates in real time. This is an unbelievably better experience than TripAdvisor, which you have to refresh to see updates. - Puffin provides transportation estimates directly in the app - A puffin itinerary looks great on your phone - Puffin is powered by Google Maps, which has superior data quality for things like phone numbers, opening times, etc

We’re still pretty early in our journey, but are laser focused on removing some of the tediousness in planning trips. Here are some features in the pipeline that we hope will further differentiate us 😊 - Alerts when a location will be closed by the time you get there. - calculate the most time efficient, or cost efficient way to view every location on your list - Voting in plans to get consensus
