Hi Product Hunt, I'm Elminson, and I build Provedly on my own.

I started it after finding that many "people viewing this" counters are random numbers and many countdowns restart for every new visitor. So we measured it: we scanned 200 small Shopify stores that use urgency apps. 7 of the 17 ticking countdowns restarted for each new visitor, and 5 of the 11 viewer counters were made up in the browser.

Provedly does the same jobs, with stricter rules:

1. A purchase is marked Verified only if it arrives through a signed Stripe, Shopify or WooCommerce webhook. Hand-added rows are labelled Sample.

2. The live counter counts visitors seen in the last 90 seconds and stays hidden below a minimum you set. You can show it in the notification or right under your Add to cart button.

3. Every badge links to a public verification page that shows where the numbers come from.
