Love the concept. I have wanted to dictate a book for a while. This may make it possible and cost effective, in theory. Tried to do a test but had difficult uploading on my IPhone. Will revisit.

I tested this service side by side with other similar services and found the paid Proofree editors were more effective at grasping the niche technical nature of my content better than other services.

Hey everyone! Proofree crashed and burned! It was a solid idea grounded in genuinely wanting to help the community, but unfortunately it was very expensive upfront and we ran out of money before pushing it to profitability. The response from the PH community was incredible. And one of the best things that came out of this launch was meeting my now-co-maker @celicoo. We didn't want to let the end of Proofree be the end helping makers write better content, so we're creating Writtio (writt.io). It's an analytics tool made specifically for content marketers. Writtio analyzes writing patterns (think topics, phrases, readability, rhythm, difficulty, sentiment, etc) in your content, then relates those to engagement and conversions. It lets you get really granular about what parts of your content resonate with your readers and what parts drive away potential sales. Then, Writtio makes user-friendly suggestions about how to recreate the content that performs well. We're on track to release the beta version by early 2020. @kraftykyle Hi Kyle, I've thought a lot about scalability. What you see here is the very, very beginning of a much larger product, one with a lot more (paid) offers. Free proofreading will always be the main attraction, but it'll be a gateway rather than an endpoint.
