Promptr is a context-aware teleprompter for demos and presentations. It watches what you're showing in Chrome and surfaces the right talking points at the right moment. Developed for SE/SA roles, turns out it works great for all demo activities. Drives consistency since team members can share the same 'snippet'. Mousing over a dashboard element in your app surfaces the same content for everyone.

I was an early member of the Solutions Architecture team at Stripe. We demoed a lot. The dashboard, bespoke custom solutions... you name it.
As new folks joined the team we recognized that Stripe is a hard and complicated thing to sell and solution. A reasonable ramp time was like 3 to 6 months for a new SA depending on experience.
What if we could shorten that? What if we could get someone comfortable enough to demo the dashboard in week 2?
We crafted training with the hope that we all would generally sound like each other and say the same things. Consistency and accuracy is crucial. The prototype I built after leaving Stripe was focused the payment page (payment intent). You could mouse over the 'metadata' section, and the talk track for metadata would live scroll in the Promptr window. The talk track would be built by more seasoned folks ensuring accuracy and appropriate context.
Having the narrative on hand and visible promotes confidence and acts as a safety net as folks ramp and beyond. Or in my case, keeps me on task with my demo script for that custom marketplace thing I've been working on.
Snippets that sync across the team sound like a quiet fix for a loud problem. Tried it on a Figma walkthrough and the cues showed up right where my cursor landed. Nice touch.
