Today we’re launching Promptr, a faster, smarter way to get better results from AI.
AI has exploded. Yet most people are still frustrated by it. The reality is that the problem usually isn’t the model, it’s the prompt.
As developers, we kept seeing the same pattern: endless back-and-forth with ChatGPT, near-miss answers, and wasted time debugging responses instead of code. Eventually, we realized how quickly these issues went away with a better initial prompt. By spending an extra 5 minutes on our prompt, we could save 30 minutes down the line on debugging.
So we asked a simple question: why should humans do this work every time?
Promptr lives directly inside ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and DeepSeek and applies proven prompt-engineering techniques in one click. No tab switching. No static templates. It enhances your exact prompt, in context, so the AI understands what you actually want.
What makes Promptr different:
Works where you already prompt, not another dashboard
Improves your prompt, not generic examples
Applies clarity, structure, constraints, and role-setting automatically
Designed for real workflows: coding, research, writing, and problem-solving
Promptr doesn’t replace how you think, it just helps you ask AI better, instantly. There is no need to compromise time for results, or vice versa.
Thank you so much for even reading this. Promptr is live today on the Chrome Web Store, for free. I would be incredibly appreciative of any feedback you may have.

Hi Jack, looks great. I was impressed by how fast the enhancement works, it makes it an easy choice to use it on every prompt. It makes sense that the enhancement is more important for more complex tasks. Are there any specific use cases for which Promptr was primarily designed?

@max_christie Thanks for the comment! I was mainly using AI for code debugging, so that was the main use case that I had imagined. I wanted to be able to solve issues on the first try rather than going in endless circles with ChatGPT. However, since I have started doing more entrepreneurial stuff, I have noticed that Promptr is also very helpful for marketing and writing tasks, as it really helps provide specific instructions. The goal is for the app to improve any prompt, no matter the use case, but I'm sure you're right that there are examples where an optimized prompt becomes more important.
