Hi everyone! 👋 I built Promptil because I kept running into the same problem while developing AI-powered features: prompts behave like product logic, but we treat them like disposable text. Whenever a model changed, a new feature shipped, or a teammate edited a prompt, things would break silently. There was no version history, no way to test prompts across models, no structure for collaboration, and no consistent workflow. So Promptil started as a personal tool — a place to write, version, test, and manage prompts the way we manage code. Over time, it evolved into a full framework for teams to create consistent outputs across OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, and others. Along the way, I realized something interesting: Prompt engineering is becoming an actual product layer in modern SaaS apps. That gave me clarity on what Promptil should be — not just an editor, but a workflow tool that helps teams build reliable AI features. I’d love feedback from the community: What parts of prompt management frustrate you the most? What workflow improvements would you want to see? Any features you wish existed but haven’t found anywhere? Thanks for checking out the launch — excited to hear your thoughts!
