Hey Product Hunt 👋
Prompt & Me is the tool I built because I needed it myself.
I had a handful of prompts that actually worked — and they lived everywhere. Slack DMs. A Notion page. Two spreadsheets. One prompts.txt I lost when I switched laptops. Every time I reused one, I'd retype the same five fields. It was dumb. I was the bottleneck for myself.
So I built the thing: a prompt editor where {{like_this}} becomes a real form field. Fill it in, copy the output, ship it. Then version it, label it, search it, and pin the brief or schema right alongside.
What's in the free tier: • 10 prompts, 2 projects, 5 versions of history per prompt • The full editor + variables + copy • Forking public prompts so you can start from someone else's
Paid tiers add more storage, longer history, public publishing, collaborators, API keys, and a 7×24 usage heatmap so you can see which prompts actually earn their keep.
Built solo on Next.js + Postgres + tRPC + Stripe + Clerk. No team, no investors — just me, a keyboard, and a lot of evenings.
Try the editor right on the homepage — no signup needed. I'd love feedback on what feels off, what's missing, and what would actually convince you to save a prompt here instead of in a Slack draft.
