Hello PH community 👋🏿👋🏻👋, We are Darius and Yannis, two recent PhD graduates who had to learn data science (DS) and machine learning (ML) from scratch in parallel to working on our domain of expertise (engineering and physics 🤓). During collaborations with engineering companies, we learned that they lack the resources (experts, capital, time) to develop and deploy ML models - some even took 12 months to deploy a single model 🤯. We saw that others struggled with data science and ML too 😔, and this includes fellow researchers, start-ups, medium-sized businesses, and even larger businesses. We think DS and ML should be accessible to everyone so we embarked on a mission to make AI and ML accessible to everyone via a self-serve tool that enables people to build, deploy and maintain machine learning models without expertise in ML, writing code, or the need for a data science team. We try to abstract data science concepts, guide the user and give manual control over the models whilst always giving the option of automation.
