What is Projectsveltos?
Sveltos is tool for managing Kubernetes add-ons in tens of clusters. Sveltos has built-in support for ClusterAPI powered clusters and helm charts. Any other clusters (GKE for instance) can be easily registered with Sveltos. After that, Sveltos can manage Kubernetes add-ons on all the clusters seamless. Sveltos can be instructed to send notifications when add-on state changes. Currently form of notifications are Kubernetes events, Slack messages and Webex messages. Helm chart values and resources contained in referenced ConfigMaps/Secrets can be defined as template. Such templates instantiation happens at time of deployment reading values from managament cluster. Sveltos can automatically detect drift detection between the desired state (defined in the management cluster) and actual state of your clusters and recover from it. Sveltos can dynamically classify a cluster based on its runtime configuration (Kubernetes version, deployed resources and more). Sveltos has built-in multi-tenancy solution allowing platform admin to programmatically grant permissions to tenant admins. Sveltos can collect tech-support from managed Kubernetes cluster (both pod's logs and Kubernetes resources). Full documentation: projectsveltos.github.io/sveltos
