Project Timesheet is a lightweight time tracking app built natively for Microsoft Teams. Log hours Mon–Fri across personal or shared team projects in a simple weekly grid with live row, day, and week totals as you type. Keep solo work private with personal projects, or roll up a whole team's hours with group projects. When you need the numbers elsewhere, export yours (or your team's) to Excel in one click. Install once, log your first week in minutes.
Project Timesheet makes tracking working hours simple and convenient, especially with its integration into Microsoft Teams. I can update my timesheet without switching between applications, and the straightforward interface makes it easy to keep entries up to date. It also helps reduce the manual effort involved in following up on timesheet submissions.
What needs improvement
As of now, I haven't come across any major difficulties with the tool. It has been solid, reliable, and very easy to use so far. The overall experience has been smooth, and I haven't found anything significant that needs improvement at this point.
vs Alternatives
We considered more traditional options such as spreadsheets and other timesheet solutions. Project Timesheet stood out because it fits naturally into our existing Microsoft Teams workflow, making it easier for the team to record and manage working hours without introducing another separate tool.
The weekly grid with live totals is fast to use, and you can keep personal work private while sharing Group projects with the team. It's built natively for Teams: no separate login, no extra tab.
