An app to track my daily meal, calorie and protein intake along with weight. Minimalistic app, I don't need all the fancy features available on other sites. I used to track for the last 3 years on excel which was my primary pain point.

I am a long time developer and a fitness enthusiast.
I built Progress Tracker because I was frustrated with existing health tracking apps. I believe that most health tracking apps have become bloated with features that most people don't need or want. Food databases with millions of items, calorie calculators, social features, premium tiers, ads. None of these things actually help you track your health. They just get in the way.
Most apps are either too complex with features I don't need, or too simple and inflexible. I used to track in Google sheets since last 3 years. Thought many times to build something but was too lazy. Now agentic coding has given the chance to work on all the dormant ideas.
What's unique? I would say the minimalism. This is for people who know how many calories and protein they ate and want a simple system to track progress. Their is no food database, macro breakdown etc.
I am proud of the architecture quality: the codebase has comprehensive documentation, clean separation of concerns, and patterns that make it easy for me to extend it in future. This is all Claude Code BTW but I was in the pilot seat and steered it all the way. Wont say it was "vibe" coded.
