Hi Product Hunt, I'm Noah, the maker behind this. I built it because I reinstalled Instagram four times during one exam session, and I got tired of pretending the problem was my planning. Every study app I tried gives you information: a planner, a timer, a streak. None of them do anything at the moment that actually decides your day, which is the moment you pick up your phone. So Exam Mode does one thing most of them don't. You pick the apps that eat your time, you start a session, and they become unreachable. There's no button to let yourself off. It unlocks itself when the session ends. Two things came out of building it that I didn't plan: Your revision plan builds itself from your chapters, weighted by exam date and course weight, instead of you spending two hours in Notion designing the system you'll abandon in a week. What you didn't do doesn't vanish. The app offers to move the block to your lightest day before the exam, and you confirm it. It never rewrites your week without you. Being straight about the limits, because you'll find them anyway: iPhone only. The blocking uses Apple's Screen Time API and I have no honest way to ship the same thing on Android today. French-first. The interface is in French, English and Spanish, but the content and the audience are French students right now. It's early. Exam Mode shipped this month.
