Hey Product Hunt! ๐Ÿ‘‹ I wanted to build better habits, but every tracker seemed to have so much clutter. They all required accounts, stored my data on servers, or pushed for premium subscriptions etc. So, I decided to create the habit tracker I wished existed: - Purely private - Runs entirely in my browser - Offers a clean, simple interface for daily use, clutter free. - Open-source That's how PrivateHabit was born. It's the tool I needed, and I hope it helps others on their journey to better habits too. Key features: ๐Ÿ”’ 100% browser-based ๐Ÿ“Š Multiple habit graphs ๐Ÿ’พ Easy data import/export with JSON file ๐ŸŒ“ Day/night mode ๐Ÿ“ฑ Responsive design You can use it now here : privatehabit.com No signup required. I'm excited to hear your thoughts and answer any questions. Thanks for checking it out! ๐Ÿ™

Love the idea and simplicity. When I refresh the page everything is gone, shouldn't it store it at least in localstorage?

Great to see a tool like PrivateHabit from @lamine! Privacy is such a crucial aspect nowadays, and it's refreshing to find an open-source habit tracker that doesn't require any account setup or data tracking. The browser-based design is a big win for meโ€”clutter-free interfaces make a huge difference in daily use. Loving the idea of multiple habit graphs and the ability to import/export data easily. This will be super helpful for users who like to track their progress meticulously. Also, day/night mode is a thoughtful touch for users who prefer a different visual experience! Kudos for putting this together! I'm sure it will be a game changer for many looking to build better habits without the baggage of traditional trackers. Looking forward to seeing how it evolves!
