Love the panic hotkey idea, that alone is worth it. One thing I'd suggest adding is a "trusted audience" whitelist so you don't have to scramble to hide stuff when a coworker or collaborator is watching. Maybe tied to specific contacts or apps like Zoom vs a screen recording.

The "trusted audience" whitelist is a great call. You've basically described where I want this to go: instead of scrambling to hide things, you'd define who or what is safe and PrivacyStage adapts automatically. Tying it to specific apps (e.g. relaxed on Zoom with a collaborator vs. locked down on a screen recorder) is a really clean way to frame it.
I'm adding it to the roadmap and will start looking into it. I'd also be genuinely happy if you gave the full app a try and sent over any feedback — real-world impressions help me shape features like this around actual workflows rather than assumptions.
