Lightweight in-memory key-value database

Prithvi is a fast, in-memory key-value store with TTL, LRU caching, JWT-style auth, and disk persistence. Built from scratch in Java with simplicity and performance in mind.

What do you think? …

I built Prithvi as a fast, lightweight, in-memory key-value database from scratch in Java. It supports TTL-based expiry, LRU cache eviction, JWT-style auth, disk persistence, and a multi-threaded architecture — all backed by a custom TCP protocol. It also includes an official JS SDK and native support for lists and sets — not just strings. My goal? To create a transparent, hackable alternative to Redis that’s easy to understand, tweak, and extend. It’s open-source. Dig in and let me know what you think!
