PRISMA is a Blender add-on for the Compositor that automates both sides of the render pass pipeline in a single click each. Create Output Node per Pass automatically creates one File Output node per render pass, wires every connection, names every file and folder, and keeps everything organized. Create Multi-Layer EXR builds the compositor node setup that combines all your passes into a single multilayer EXR output ready for Nuke, Fusion or any pipeline that expects a multi-layer file.

Would love to see a preset system where I can save my preferred folder structure and naming convention for the File Output nodes. Switching between personal projects and studio pipeline setups would be way faster with one-click presets instead of tweaking things each time.
@yunusbhm We love this idea! One-click workflow presets are exactly the kind of feature that could make PRISMA even more flexible for artists working across different projects and studio pipelines. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts—we’ll definitely consider it for a future update. 🛸
finally something that stops the file output node spaghetti in Blender. Tried the multi-layer EXR build and it just works, no fiddling with names or folders.
@murattuzen80117 Thank you! 😄 “File Output node spaghetti” was definitely one of the problems we wanted to eliminate. Our goal was to make the workflow as simple as possible—set up your passes, export once, and let PRISMA handle the organization. We’re really happy to hear it’s making your workflow easier. Thanks for sharing! 🛸
The multi-layer EXR setup alone saves me a solid hour on every shot. Also nice that the file naming convention matches what our comp team already expects, so no more mismatched folder chaos on handoff.
@niyaziybvr Thanks so much! Hearing that it saves you time on every shot is exactly why we built PRISMA. We wanted the export process to feel seamless—not just for the artist rendering the scene, but for everyone involved in the pipeline. Really appreciate your feedback! 🛸
One thing I've learned as an architect and 3D artist is that creativity keeps getting interrupted by repetitive technical tasks.
Setting up Render Passes was one of those for me. Every project started with the same checklist before I could even think about lighting, composition, or storytelling.
PRISMA came out of a simple question: what if this part of the workflow just… disappeared?
Building it has been a real ride, and I'm finally ready to share it with the Blender community.
I'd love to hear from you: what's the most repetitive part of your Blender workflow? Your answers will help shape what we build next. 💜
honestly the best part is how it keeps the file naming and folder structure consistent without you having to babysit it. that one click pipeline export saves so much setup time.
@bildirci44068 Thank you! That’s exactly what we wanted to solve. Consistent file organization and a one-click export workflow mean less time managing files and more time creating. Really glad that stood out to you! 🛸
