PRISM helps software engineers master System Design through interactive learning. Instead of memorizing architecture diagrams, you design real-world systems, simulate traffic, identify bottlenecks, and understand why architectures evolve. Learn with guided roadmaps, practice on an interactive canvas, and evaluate your designs with interview-focused feedback. Built for engineers preparing for System Design interviews and designing production-scale systems.
Hi Product Hunt! š
I'm Prajwal, a Software Engineer at Microsoft and the solo developer behind PRISM.
While preparing for and giving System Design interviews, I noticed something frustrating.
Most resources show the final architecture, but very few explain how you arrive there.
You end up memorizing diagrams instead of understanding the engineering decisions behind them.
That became the motivation for building PRISM.
Instead of reading another article, PRISM lets you build architectures yourself, simulate how they behave under traffic, discover bottlenecks, and understand why production systems evolve over time.
Over the past few months, I completely redesigned the product based on user feedback.
Today PRISM includes:
š Learn Mode ā Structured roadmap to learn System Design concepts.
š Practice Mode ā Interactive architecture canvas.
š Simulation Engine ā Test your architecture and identify bottlenecks.
šÆ Interview Focus ā Practice real interview questions while understanding the trade-offs behind every architectural decision.
This is still the beginning, and I'm actively improving PRISM every week.
I'd genuinely love your feedback.
What feature would make PRISM your go-to platform for learning System Design?
Thank you so much for checking it out ā¤ļø
